The short version. Everything runs on your device and nothing is sent anywhere. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no payment of any kind, so there is nothing about you to store: no scores, no answers, not a word you wrote. There is no analytics service, no advertising, and nothing to sell even if we wanted to. The short list of third parties below covers the few things a page fetches when you ask it to.

Your study work

Every wing on this site runs in your browser. Progress, notes, settings, bookmarks, journals and vault entries are stored in your browser's local storage, on your own device. What you write (journal entries, tasting notes, saved menus, anything in a vault) is never uploaded. The wings that hold your writing give you export tools, and those exports go where you put them and nowhere else.

Your account

There isn't one. Outside Of Time Hospitality is free and has no sign-in and no password to lose. Nobody has a record that you use it, because no such record is ever made. The five apps ask for nothing and send nothing. There is no exception: the letter signup and the trip-inquiry form that Calendar For Life used to carry have been removed, and nothing in any wing now has anywhere to send an address even if you typed one.

Calendar For Life keeps its own policy for what it stores on your device, which this page does not shrink.

These apps ask for no name. Each one keeps a single record on the device it is installed on, and nothing that leaves the device carries a name, because there is none to carry. If a paid edition ever returns and you choose to sign in, this page will change before anything about that changes.

Your results

Scores, streaks, exam records, tasting notes and everything else a wing remembers are written to your browser's local storage and stay there. Nothing is uploaded when you finish a round, online or off. If you clear your browser's data for this site, it is gone: there is no copy anywhere else, which is the other half of the same promise.

Paying

There is no payment. No checkout, no card, no processor.

Every third party, listed

YouTube: two wings show video from YouTube. First Light's practice page draws its video titles and thumbnails live the moment you open it. The Bartender's Ledger pins a film to some of its Coffee & Tea lessons and contacts YouTube only for the lesson you have actually opened: one thumbnail, and one lookup to confirm the film still plays. On either wing, pressing play loads YouTube's embedded player. YouTube sees those requests; nothing about your account goes with them.
Google Fonts: Calendar For Life loads its typefaces from Google, which sees the standard request data. The hub and every other wing ship their own fonts (licence), so no font request leaves your device.
jsDelivr: nothing is fetched from it in this edition. It is named in one file, for a sign-in library, and that file never loads it because this edition has no sign-in to load it for. It is listed here because it would be contacted if that ever changed, and this page would say so first.
Reading a menu off a photograph used to download a text reader from jsDelivr. It no longer does: that download was removed, and photograph reading is now done entirely by your own browser or not at all. The photograph itself was never uploaded then and is not now.

That is the whole list. No analytics service, no advertising network, no tracking pixels, no social buttons.

Your data, your call

Everything lives in your browser's local storage, so it is already in your hands: clearing this site's data removes all of it, and there is no server copy to ask about. If you have a question anyway, write to zpullen98@gmail.com.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a material change is said out loud on the hub before it takes effect.
