Nothing is collected while you browse. Calendar For Life itself has no accounts of its own, no cookies, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Every feature works without giving anything: all 799 entries are readable, and bookmarks, journals, and galley notes are free and stay on your device. The app asks for nothing at all: no email, no name, no account. Nothing you do here is sent anywhere, so this almanac holds no data about you.
The almanac travels as one wing of Outside Of Time, which is free and has no accounts, no sign-in and nothing to pay. The almanac never reports what you read, bookmark, or write, and every page of it stays free. This data never leaves your device. There is no path by which it could: the app makes no request that carries it.
There is none. The almanac used to carry a Festival of the Week signup and a trip inquiry form for Calendar For Life Voyages, and an outbox that queued both. All three are gone. Nothing in this app sends anything anywhere, and the first time you open this edition it deletes the email address and any unsent inquiry the old forms had left on your device.
Each entry carries a section called The Lantern with a link to footage of the gathering on YouTube. Nothing from YouTube loads inside the almanac: no player, no thumbnail, no script. Until you tap the link, no request reaches Google and the almanac collects nothing. Following the link opens YouTube in your browser or YouTube app, where Google's own terms and privacy policy apply.
The app installs a Service Worker that caches its own content (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, icons) so it can work offline. The Service Worker caches only the app itself. It does not cache or transmit any personal data.
The app loads six typeface families from Google Fonts on first load: Cinzel, Cinzel Decorative, IM Fell English, IM Fell English SC, Pinyon Script, and UnifrakturMaguntia. The fonts are then cached locally by the Service Worker. Google's font CDN may log standard web request data (IP address, user agent) per its own privacy policy. The app does not send any personal data to Google.
The app requests no special device permissions. It does not access:
The app contains no advertising and no tracking and is safe for users of all ages. The travel content references restaurants and venues that may serve alcohol; parental discretion is advised for younger readers.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be bundled with the next app update and the date above will reflect the change.
