Michigan Baked Whitefish

Ingredients

  • 4 Great Lakes whitefish fillets, about 180g each
  • 55g butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 100g cracker crumbs
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lemon wedges

Method

  1. Pat the fillets dry, season, and lay skin-side down in a buttered dish.
  2. Toss the cracker crumbs with the melted butter, parsley, and paprika.
  3. Squeeze lemon over the fish and pack the crumb topping on.
  4. Bake at 200C for 12-15 min until the crumbs are gold and the fish flakes. 15 min
  5. Serve at once with lemon.
