Ingredients

  • 2 oz brandy (Wisconsin uses brandy, not whiskey)
  • 1 sugar cube
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 orange slice
  • 2 maraschino cherries
  • Splash of lemon-lime soda or sour mix
  • Ice

Method

  1. Muddle the sugar cube with the bitters, orange slice, and one cherry in the bottom of a glass.
  2. Add ice and the brandy.
  3. Top with a splash of lemon-lime soda for a 'sweet' or sour mix for a 'sour'.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Garnish with the second cherry and an orange slice.
